At the beginning of each semester, students may make adjustments to their schedule; this is referenced as the Drop/Add period. The Drop/Add period was established to permit enrolled students to make schedule adjustments, not to allow unregistered students to build schedules. After the established dates, any schedule adjustments may only be made with the permission of the course instructor, the department chair, and the assistant dean of the SGSR.

Process

  1. Complete the Exceptional Drop/Add Form.
  2. Secure required signatures.
  3. Submit the form to the SGSR.

Note: This process is required only after the published Drop/Add dates. This process is appropriate only for exceptional situations (medical emergencies). During this period, if a student wishes to withdraw from a course, he/she should do so via the Web.
