Model United Nations

UN FlagWhat is Model United Nations?

The students of IUP’s Model United Nations participate in simulations of the United Nations with students from other universities.

The Model United Nations teaches students the dynamics for multilateral diplomacy and international relations.

Students collaborate with other students within and outside of IUP to propose resolutions addressing regional conflicts, such as human rights.

By participating, you’ll represent one of the many countries represented in the United Nations.

Model UN provides an opportunity for students to better understand the inner workings of the UN while building skills in diplomacy.

All majors are welcome!Model United Nations Meeting
