The Dr. Willard W. Hennemann, Jr., Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a deserving and worthy undergraduate or graduate student with a strong commitment in the field of mathematics education at the elementary or middle school level.

Minimum requirements are:

Undergraduate Students:

  • Elementary Education or Middle Level Math major
  • At least three credits in the math-concentrate above MATH 152
  • Junior or senior standing (at least 57 credits)
  • QPA of 3.0 or above
  • Full-time student for the next academic year

Graduate Students:

  • Masters of Education program in Elementary and Middle School Mathematics Education
  • Undergraduate QPA of 3.0 or above OR graduate QPA of 3.0 or above with at least six credits
  • Full-time student for next academic year
