The following scholarships are administered by the Mathematics Department. Students may also want to review the university undergraduate scholarships.

Scholarship applications are now completed electronically. The deadline was 4:00 p.m. on March 27, 2013. The 2013 Department Scholarship Banquet was held on May 10, 2013, at 5:30 in the Oak Room in the basement of Foster Dining Hall.

Arms
Presented to an outstanding student (or students) who are members of the IUP Chapter of Kappa Mu Epsilon, the Mathematics Honorary Society.
Boytim
Awarded to a senior in the Mathematics Department who is of good character and who demonstrates the promise of future success in the education profession.
Daugherty
For students whose interests match those of Mr. Daugherty
Griffith
For students studying mathematics and geography.
Hennemann
For an outstanding undergraduate or graduate student in elementary or middle school mathematics education.
Kuczinski
For a mathematics education major with at least junior standing.
Morrell
For a mathematics major completing the sophomore or junior year and reflecting the character of Captain Morrell, a United States Marine pilot and an IUP football captain.
Myers
For outstanding undergraduate students in Elementary Education with a Mathematics Concentration or in Middle Level Mathematics Education.
Noyce
For students with a science, mathematics, technology, or engineering degree who want to return to school for teaching certification.
Reigh
For an undergraduate or graduate student with junior standing who exemplifies excellence in or potential for excellence in mathematics teaching at the elementary or secondary level.
Serafini
For a full-time undergraduate major in Mathematics or Secondary Mathematics Education
Merle Stilwell Scholarship for Mathematics
The scholarship will be awarded to Mathematics or Mathematics Education majors. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate involvement in community service and well-roundedness.
Stoudt
For an undergraduate major in the Department of Mathematics with an outstanding academic record, with preference given to students who have had to overcome obstacles in order to pursue their education.
