The following scholarships are administered by the Mathematics Department. Students may also want to review the university undergraduate scholarships. Scholarship applications are due in the department office by March 11, 2009.

- Presented to an outstanding student (or students) who are members of the IUP Chapter of Kappa Mu Epsilon, the Mathematics Honorary Society.
- Boytim
- Awarded to a senior in the Mathematics Department who is of good character and who demonstrates the promise of future success in the education profession.
- Daugherty
- For students whose interests match those of Mr. Daugherty
- Griffith
- For students studying mathematics and geography.
- Hennemann
- For an outstanding undergraduate or graduate student in elementary mathematics education.
- Kuczinski
- For a mathematics education major with at least junior standing.
- Morrell
- For a mathematics major completing the sophomore or junior year and reflecting the character of Captain Morrell, a United States Marine pilot and an IUP football captain.
- Myers
- For outstanding undergraduate students in Elementary Education with a Mathematics Concentration
- Noyce
- For students with a science, mathematics, technology, or engineering degree who want to return to school for teaching certification.
- Reigh
- For an undergraduate or graduate student with junior standing who exemplifies excellence in or potential for excellence in mathematics teaching at the elementary or secondary level.
- Stoudt
- For an undergraduate major in the Department of Mathematics with an outstanding academic record, with preference given to students who have had to overcome obstacles in order to pursue their education.
