Students on the 2006 Belize Study Odyssey visit Xununtunich, Belize
In 2006, Dr. Beverly Chiarulli and fourteen students spent spring break in Belize. During the trip, they visited Maya sites, including Lamanai, Caracol, and Maax Na; spent three days in the Programme for Belize Rio Bravo reserve; and learned about the ecology of the area and Maya archaeology. The trip was part of a three-credit Study Odyssey in the Spring semester. During Spring break 2008, Dr. Chiarulli and four students toured Belize as part of the Mesoamerican Archaeology course.
