Robert E. Cook Honors College Application Options

Early Action: November 15
Regular Decision: February 21

About Our Applications

Based on feedback from former applicants, there are now two ways to apply to the Robert E. Cook Honors College. Our students felt that the traditional application favored Right Brain applicants over Left Brainers. To level the playing field, they suggested we offer another version of our application.

Right Brain Application (traditional): application form, three short essays, two long essays, resume, transcript, one school report, three teacher recommendations, one personal recommendation, formal interview (optional).

Left Brain Application (new): online or downloadable application (only), transcript, resume, one school report, one recommendation (teacher or personal), required formal interview (in person or by phone), one academic writing sample.

The list below may help you decide which application is right for you. Either format is completely acceptable. The choice is entirely up to you.
