The IUP Chorus is a large, mixed chorus that performs major works each semester. The rehearsals are every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:05 to 6:35 p.m. in Cogswell Hall, Room 120. It is offered for one credit (MUSC 134 001).
Membership in IUP Choral Ensembles is by audition only. Auditions will be held in Cogswell Hall, Room 111 during the first three days of classes. Find a convenient time on the sign-up list at the door and enter your name. It is not necessary to prepare a solo for your audition. The director will vocalize you to hear the weight, color, and range of your voice and play some simple melodies for you to repeat. All students from across campus are encouraged to audition.
