Community Nutrition Services (CNS) is directed by Dr. Nicole Clark, DCN, RD, CDE, LDN. Graduate dietetic interns in the Department of Food and Nutrition provide counseling services.

What CNS Provides

  • Nutrition intervention to the community through counseling, education, and research activities
  • Evaluation of food intake and computerized diet analysis and overall health status. 
  • Specialized counseling for diabetes control, weight management, cholesterol control, eating disorders, pregnancy, lactation, athletic training, general health and wellness, high blood pressure, and other medical problems that require nutrition intervention
