Foreign Student 3-2 Program

IUP currently has a 3-2 program with several qualifying universities in eastern Europe and Asia. With 3 years of solid undergraduate preparation at their home institution and approximately 2 years of study at IUP, undergraduate applicants may finish their home institution's BS degree in Physics by transfer of IUP credits, and also complete the MS degree in Physics at IUP. This program offers an exceptional opportunity for introducing qualified students to the American research and educational community. IUP may be the perfect place to begin your research career. If you've interested in pursuing this avenue please contact us to determine if you and your institution qualify for this program.

Because of the wide range of possible courses, students are required to have the consent of their graduate advisers before selecting a course. An adviser is assigned to students as soon as they are accepted into the degree program.
