Research

  • Materials characterization using Rutherford Backscattering and Channeling, Transmission and Scanning Electron Microscopy. Material modification using ion implantation for device application.
  • Electrical transport measurements, electrical carrier profiling of ion implanted shallow junctions in silicon nanostructures. Oxidation studies for silicon micro and nanotechnology. Characterization of metal-semiconductor interface.
  • Optical Characterization of semiconductor materials. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Ellipsometry.
  • Physics education research.
