All scholarships are merit based. Admitted students are automatically reviewed for consideration of award.
Abernathy Scholars Program
Awarded to three incoming freshmen and renewable up to a total of four years as long as students remain in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology and remain in good standing.
The Abraham Business Scholarship
Undergraduate scholarship awarded to full-time business students.
Robert and Irene Bozzone Scholarship
Undergraduate scholarship awarded to business students with preference given to Marketing, Management, Finance, or International Business majors. The students must be U.S. citizens.
George M. Burke Memorial Fund
A four-year scholarship awarded to a freshman enrolled in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology on a full-time basis who demonstrates financial need and who is a permanent resident of Pennsylvania.
Marie A. Canedy Scholarship for Business
Awarded to entering freshmen enrolled in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology who are residents of Pennsylvania. Recipients must demonstrate promise of success in educational pursuits and career aspirations upon graduation. Consideration given to students with demonstrated financial need.
Charles L. Cooper/Alumni Scholarships
Consideration given to all outstanding students, regardless of year of study, enrolled in the Department of Accounting of the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology.
Dressel Family Scholarship
Awarded to entering or currently enrolled undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. Preference shall be given to female and/or minority students. Recipients may have their support renewed annually during their undergraduate career, provided they maintain satisfactory academic progress each year.
Terry and Mary Jo Dunlap Scholarship
Established by a 1981 alumnus, this fund awards a $1,500 four-year scholarship to students enrolled in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. The student must carry 15 credits and maintain a 3.4 grade-point average overall.
Eberly College of Business and Information Technology Brick Scholarship
This scholarship offers financial assistance to talented and deserving Honors College students majoring in any degree program offered by the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology.
Eberly Family College of Business Scholarship
This scholarship offers assistance to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology.
Eberly Golf Classic Scholarship
Undergraduate scholarship awarded to business student.
FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Scholarship
Awarded to an incoming freshman who enrolls as a full-time student in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. Awardee must be a current, dues-paying FBLA member.
Finance Department Scholarship
Undergraduate scholarship awarded to Finance business students.
Robert L. Hite Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time freshman majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Management from specified counties in Pennsylvania and New York. The recipient must maintain a minimum of 15 credits per semester.
Indiana First Bank
Must be a resident of Indiana County, Punxsutawney, Blairsville, or Elderton. Renewable for a total of eight semesters. Continuing recipients must be full time, with a 3.0 GPA and carrying a minimum of 15 credits a semester. As such, all applicants for the Indiana First Bank Scholarship will be advised that scholarship finalists will require an Indiana First Bank employment interview and credit check as part of the selection process.
Fred E. Kunkle (Evergreen Motors) Scholarship
The Kunkle Scholarship supports the Foundation Distinguished Scholars Program by funding an outstanding freshman entering the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. The award is renewable for four years and is awarded through the Honors College.
Management Department Scholarship
Undergraduate scholarship awarded to general Management, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, Operations Management, Human Resources Management, and International Business students.
Marketing Department Scholarship
Undergraduate scholarship awarded to Marketing business students.
Arveta DeGaetano McNaughton Scholarship
Awarded each year to a graduate of Indiana Area Senior High School who was enrolled in the Business Department at Indiana Area Senior High School and who enrolls in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology as a full-time student.
National City Bank of Pennsylvania Scholarship
Awarded to an entering freshman Pennsylvania student enrolled full time in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. May be renewable up to three consecutive years, provided recipient carries a minimum of 15 credits a semester, maintains at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and remains a Pennsylvania resident.
Carl E. Patchin Scholarship
The Patchin Scholarship supports the Foundation Distinguished Scholars program by funding an outstanding freshman enrolled in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. The award is renewable for four years and is awarded through the Honors College.
Everett and Lavina Peterman Scholarship
A four-year scholarship awarded every four years to an incoming freshman who enrolls on a full-time basis as a Business Education or Management Information Systems major who has graduated from an Indiana County High School. Qualifying recipients have scored at least 1000 on the SAT and must maintain a 3.0 GPA overall at the end of each academic year.
Undergraduate Scholarship
Awarded to deserving and talented undergraduate students enrolled in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology.
Vaughn Foundation
Two $500 scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen demonstrating academic promise, financial need, and a willingness to give a portion of their time to community service. Students must also participate in men’s football, men’s basketball, or women’s basketball. Preference given to students enrolling in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. Renewable for up to four years, provided the student maintains good academic standing and athletic eligibility.
