Here is a list of ESL (English as a Second Language) and other academic resources for those wanting more help with their language skills.

IUP Writing Center Tutor: The Office of International Education helps pay for an ESL tutor at the Writing Center. Go to the Writing Center for help with your writing. Also see its webpage for some suggestions with writing styles.

American Language Institute: Enroll in classes at the ALI if you want a more concentrated class. Apply on line or visit the institute in Eicher Hall.

ARIN Center for Adult Education: Free adult ESL classes are available every semester at this Pennsylvania-sponsored program.

Learning Enhancement Center: Need some tutoring help? Contact the center to find out which courses offer supplemental instruction.

The SkillZone is a free drop-in tutoring center for all IUP international students to access support for essential academic skills.
