The IUP chapter of the National Broadcasting Society is a professional organization for students with career interests in broadcasting and electronic media. The chapter sponsors professional activities such as media field trips and professional speakers at chapter meetings. Students are also to network with media professionals at the society’s regional and national conventions. In addition, students have the opportunity to compete for national scholarships and production and scriptwriting awards.
