Current Students
Registration: Students already enrolled at IUP should use URSA to register.
- Course numbers for undergraduates are numbered 100 through 499.
- Online course section numbers begin with an “8,” for example, 801, 802, 803.
- Writing-intensive online courses include a “W” in the section number, for example, 8W1, 8W2.
- An alternate PIN is not required to register for Winter or Summer Session courses.
Non-IUP Students
Please complete the Non-IUP Student Application Form: This application is for admission as a non-degree student.
Non-degree-seeking students are not eligible for state or federal financial aid at IUP. Some private/alternative loans may be utilized to assist with paying for your distance education course(s). Contact IUP’s Financial Aid office at 724-357-2218 or check the Financial Aid website for details.
Transfer Grade/Credit for PASSHE Students: Students who are currently enrolled at another Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education university may obtain a “Visiting Student” form from their university. Complete this form and submit it to the Office of Adult and Continuing Education, Keith Hall, Suite 100, 390 Pratt Drive, Indiana, PA 15705.
