Getting Back to BASICS: Helping College Students Reduce Their Risk for Alcohol-Related Problem

Presented by Ann Sesti, M.A., NCC, LPC

Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students (BASICS) is a scientifically proven and effective strategy (as recognized by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism) to reduce high-risk and underage drinking by college and university students.  This program will highlight the underlying principles of BASICS and provide participants with information on using this strategy to elicit an individual's own internal motivation to change.
