Biography/Professional Experience

Dr. Blood is a tenured, associate professor who has taught at IUP since 2004 in the Fashion Merchandising program. As a trained apparel designer, she teaches classes in Fashion Forecasting, Clothing Construction, Textiles, Ready to Wear Analysis, and Cultural Studies of Dress and Appearance, among others. She currently is the VP of Education for the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals, an international professional organization dedicated to the networking, education, and promotion of sewing and design professionals. She is a three-time winner of the ASDP/Threads Challenge, with her current win being featured in issue #166 for her innovative lace design.
