Cogeneration Plant Animation

The animation shows how the cogeneration plant uses natural gas and a small amount of diesel fuel in the boilers to heat the water to produce the steam and hot water for campus and run the generator that creates the electricity that is sent to the Utility Sub-Station and then distributed to the grid.

The S.W. Jack Cogeneration Plant produces electric, steam, and hot water from the fuel sources of natural gas and a small amount of diesel fuel. The Cogeneration Plant is a 24Mw simple cycle plant which consists of four Cooper-Bessemer LSVB duel fuel engines. This animation shows the co-generation process.
