  • Aaron Waibel recently published a paper titled “Anomaly Prediction in Seismic Signals Using Neural Networks” in the 2013 IEEE Applied Imagery Pattern Recognition (AIPR) Workshop: Sensing for Control and Augmentation.

  • Joseph Gibson, Thomas Taylor, and Zachary Seymour under the supervision of Drs. David T. Smith and Terrence P. Fries published “Educational Aspects of Undergraduate Research on Smart Phone Application Development,” in Second International Symposium on Integrating Research, Education, and Problem Solving, Orlando, FL, July 2012.
  • Dane Alabran and Waleed Farag, “An Effective System for Retrieving Digital Images Using Genetic Algorithms for Similarity Searching,” presented in the Fifth Annual Undergraduate Scholars Forum sponsored by IUP, Indiana, PA, April 1st, p. 7, 2010. This presentation won the best student presentation award.
