Why wait to graduate from high school to start earning college credit?
Qualified high school students may accelerate their college education through Dual Enrollment courses offered at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and the IUP regional campuses. The Dual Enrollment initiative at IUP is a collaborative effort with your school district to provide enhanced learning opportunities to high school students interested in pursuing college-level coursework.
This program, supported by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, allows qualified high school juniors and seniors to enroll in college-level courses and to receive both college and high school credit for that coursework. The college credits earned at IUP are widely accepted and generally transferable to many colleges and universities nationwide, so regardless of a student’s future goals, the opportunity to earn college credits while attending high school will not only provide challenges, but will help students to succeed beyond their expectations.
