The strategic goals of the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology for the early part of the twenty-first century are to:
- Maintain efforts to elevate instructional effectiveness and scholarly productivity of faculty.
- Obtain a reputation for integrating the use of information technology in managing the enterprise.
- Broaden the use of technology for instructional enhancement and efficiency consistent with programmatic needs and opportunities.
- Increase and strengthen crosscultural partnerships that enhance the identity of IUP and elevate opportunities for crosscultural exposure of both faculty and students.
- Expand the content and scope of the graduate program offering to place greater emphasis on global management and on the use and management of information technology.
- Reshape the focus of service programs to place a greater emphasis on support for technology-driven entrepreneurial ventures.
