Tobacco Cessation Services

Congratulations on your interest in learning more about quitting tobacco. It is one of the best things you can do to improve your health, quality of life, and longevity. It certainly isn't easy, yet with preparation, determination, perseverance, and patience you can be successful!

ATOD is available to meet with you to assist you in developing a quit plan. If you are interested in meeting with an ATOD representative contact, atod-oasis@iup.edu or call 724-357-1265. Below is information developed by ATOD to assist you.

If you don’t have time to meet with someone from ATOD, but would like support, here are two additional options:

  1. Pennsylvania Department of Health has a toll free quit line which puts you in touch with a trained professional who can assist you. To start that conversation, call 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669).
  2. FREE 24/7 quit help texted to your phone. Text QUIT to 47848, answer a few questions and you’ll start to receive messages to help you quit.
