2013–14 Events Hosted by the Hispanic Heritage Council

Noche LatinaAnnual events to promote academic diversity and raise community awareness of the Hispanic culture include one fall and one spring social gathering. These events continue to be open to the entire campus community.

Noche Latina was held on October 26, 2013, during Hispanic Heritage Month, and highlighted the Latino traditions of delicious food and talented entertainers.

The second semester's event, “Rhythm of Spain,” was held on April 4, 2014, and featured a Flamenco dance performance, discussion, and a castanet workshop.
