All IUP e-mail addresses have been added to the Reverse 911 system, as have all desk phones across campus. Those who wish to register additional phone numbers should log in to URSA. Registration information can be found on the Personal Information Screen under “Update Address(es) and Phone(s)” and “Update Emergency Contacts.”
Parents who are interested in registering must ask their enrolled students to register on their behalf by adding a phone number under “Home Phone Number.”
The Confirmation Message
After completing the registration, two messages will be sent to the listed wireless device: a Confirmation message and the Opt Out message. The Confirmation message reads “IUP911–Confirmation: Info added to system. Remember: do not reply to STOP message you will be receiving with this message.”
