IUP offers a pre-college program to a limited number of first-year students through the Developmental Studies Program. The program is called CUSP: The Early Entrance Experience and is designed to help students make a satisfactory transition to the college experience and to enhance their chances for academic success.

Institutional Review Board For the Protection of Human Subjects (IRB)
IRB is the regulatory body of IUP which is responsible for the review of research that involves human participants. The purpose of IRBs nationally is the protection of participants in research as well as protection for researchers conducting research involving human participants.
