3801 Lancaster: The Kermit Gosnell Story

On February 18, 2010, police raided the Women’s Medical Society in Philadelphia based on reports that its owner, Dr. Kermit Gosnell, was running a prescription “pill mill.”

“What they discovered, it’s almost out of one of the worst movies or horror novels that you can imagine,” said Philadelphia District Attorney R. Seth Williams.

3801 Lancaster tells the story of the landmark Kermit Gosnell case, chronicling the doctor’s unthinkable acts and the State of Pennsylvania’s failure to intervene despite persistent reports of wrong doing. Directed by IUP alumnus David Altrogge and featured on CNN, the BBC, and Fox News, 3801 Lancaster is a must-see film.
