Excercise Science Course List

An M.S. in Exercise Science prepares students for career options in the health, fitness and sport industries. Recent IUP graduates have found employment in careers such as cardiac and chronic disease rehabilitation, fitness training, and corporate wellness. 

Students can choose a 30-credit thesis option or a 36-credit non-thesis option. The courses in this track can also lead to a certification offered by the American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and other nationally recognized fitness certifications.

Thesis Option: 30 credits
