Job Description

We are currently seeking upcoming college graduates to participate in our Entry-Level North
America Information Technology College New Hire program. Through this program, we
provide rotational assignments (two rotations of 6-9 months each) that challenge and develop
employees for positions of greater responsibility and leadership. The primary responsibilities
of persons placed in this role are to identify, analyze, plan, design, document and deliver
technical solutions to meet the business requirements. The assignments will be located at our
corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. Relocation assistance will not be offered for these
opportunities. Future opportunities (once the rotations are completed) may be at other Bayer
sites, which would include relocation benefits. Identified candidates will start in either
February 2014 or June 2014, dependent upon graduation date.

Fundamental Duties

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally.
  • Flexibility to relocate to another Bayer site outside of the Pittsburgh, PA area after
    successful completion of rotational assignments.

  • Self leadership demonstrated by initiative and positive approach to tasks, decision-makingand problem-solving skills with a willingness and aptitude to learn new technology.
  • Teamwork skills based on willingness and ability to work in a global and diverse businessenvironment and to interact with others in various functions, businesses and levels.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact withand establish good working relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Customer service focus based on an understanding of the various aspects of businesstheory and the ability to integrate business processes with systems and technology.
  • Project coordination with the ability to be proactive and identify creative, effective technical solutions.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (completion within the next 3 months) in an IT-related field.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (GPA must be stated on the resume/unofficial transcripts unponinitial application) to demonstrate knowledge of technical and analytical areas.
  • IT-related work experience, including internships (0-1 year).
