Tests Available

The University Testing Center offers both computer-based testing and traditional paper-based testing. Some tests are only available as one or the other. Please refer to the specific test for more information.

Most Pearson VUE exams can be scheduled directly through the testing center. If you would like assistance, please call 724-357-4994, or stop by the center during office hours and we will be happy to schedule the exam for you.

American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) credentialing is the most respected in the health and fitness industry.

The IUP PhD in Literature and Criticism program requires a reading ability in a foreign language (not English) as measured by the Foreign Language Competency Test.
IUP University Testing Services now offers the GED test on computer, a brand new way to take today’s test and earn your GED credential.
Assists graduate schools in assessing the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management.
Used for admission to many graduate programs.
The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a half-day standardized test required for admission to most law schools.
Assesses your ability to recognize relationships between ideas, your fluency in the English language, and your general knowledge of literature, philosophy, history, science, mathematics, and fine arts. It is a computer-based test used for graduate admissions.
