Electro-Optics Summer Camp

Learn about lasers, optics, forensics, fiber-optics, and night vision. This camp is open to high school students entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in Fall 2014.

August 4-7, 2014

EO ClassesTime: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily

Location: Weyandt Hall, Room 332, IUP, 975 Oakland Avenue, Indiana, PA 15705

Cost: $85 per student. Lunch and program supplies are included in the camp registration fee.

Daily Themes Include:

  • Wave Optics
  • Electronics
  • Conference call with NASA
  • Nanotechnology 
  • Forensics

All activities are subject to change.

What to Expect:

  • Participate in hands-on-activities in electro-optics, including lasers, fiber-optics, night vision, and more. 
  • Learn about forensics. 
  • Study lasers and how they work. 
  • Explore the field of science. Tours will be provided of the Physics, Biology, and Chemistry labs.
