The Militia

The mission of the Militia is exploration, empowerment, and diversity. The purpose of the Militia is to explore art through various disciplines such as dance, music composition, and drama, while empowering both men and women through accepting the differences of diverse members and learning from one another. By definition, a militia is a military force composed of ordinary citizens to provide defense, and emergency law enforcement in times of emergency. The Militia thinks of themselves as an army of ordinary students standing up for the preservation of art in a world where art is being threatened; as students who will not accept mediocrity.
