An Invitation to Less Stress
In one way or another, we face stress every day of our lives, but sometimes stress can become overwhelming. Daily Steps to Less Stress is a four-week daily stress management campaign that can help you get to the root of your stress. Using the Stress Management Journal and A Day Away from Stress CD, you’ll develop daily strategies to control, manage, or cope with stress to feel happier, healthier, and more relaxed. Discovering your relaxation within is just days away.
How Does it Work?
When you register for Daily Steps to Less Stress, you’ll receive the engaging Stress Management Journal and A Day Away from Stress CD. The Stress Management Journal will introduce you to five relaxation techniques and five cognitive techniques to help you take daily steps to relaxation. This program focuses on the kinds of stress you can control and shows you how to eliminate, avoid, and cope with stress to feel happier, healthier, and more relaxed. You’ll also receive weekly newsletters to help you effectively use your journal and CD. The program starts on Monday, April 8, and ends on Friday, May 3, 2013.
Faculty, managers, coaches, and SPFPA and OPEIU employees enrolled in the Highmark PPO or Indemnity plans and their covered spouse/same-sex domestic partner will earn 25 points for participating in this program.
How do I Get Started?
To participate in this program, complete and submit a Daily Steps to Less Stress registration form along your participation fee of $5.00 to the Office of Human Resources, Sutton Hall, Room G-8, by Friday, March 29, 2013.
