Dr. Lisa DePaoli has joined the Anthropology faculty for the academic year 2012–2013. She is a cultural anthropologist who holds college degrees in anthropology and psychology. She completed dissertation fieldwork in southern Ecuador on development and perception of and attention to issues surrounding climate change. Besides development and climate change, her research interests also include the closely related topics of agroecology, sustainability, agriculture, and ecological anthropology, focusing on Latin America and the U.S.
