Applied Linguistics and Teaching Methodology

Encounter fundamental terminology and concepts in Spanish linguistics by interacting, for example, with the Spanish sound system, principles of word formation, syntax, and grammar, while building on the critical application of these abilities.

In the Applied Linguistics and Teaching Methodology track, you’ll be empowering others not only to learn, acquire, and speak Spanish, but you will also be enabled to establish and augment your teaching abilities by utilizing a dynamic, evolving research base to develop approaches to teaching Spanish at various educational levels.
