Application and Admission Requirements for the Spanish M.A. Program

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis of the Spanish M.A. program; however, your application must be submitted by March 15, 2013, to be considered for a graduate assistantship.

The following requirements are necessary to successfully apply for the Spanish M.A. program:

  1. Applicants must have a B.A. or a B.S.Ed. in Spanish with a minimum 3.0 GPA, or another bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be approved by the director on the basis of spoken and written Spanish.
  2. Submit the following items for consideration:
    • Apply online or request a hardcopy by e-mailing 
    • $50 nonrefundable application fee
    • Three academic or professional letters of recommendation
    • Signed and dated academic goal statement
    • Official transcripts of colleges and universities attended
  3. Submit all application materials to:
