Through the Oak Grove: A History of Indiana University of Pennsylvania

This exhibit takes you on a visual journey from IUP’s founding to the present, featuring photographs, paintings, and memorabilia. A public reception will be held on September 8 from 6:00–8:30 p.m.

This annual benefit event is always an enjoyable evening. The Stagedoor Canteen will take you back to the Big Band era with great art, music, dance, and food. Reservations are required.

The Paintings of Dick Morrill

In Sisterhood: The Women’s Movement in Pittsburgh and Bridge Builders

February 2–March 16 2013; University Museum, Sutton Hall

Concurrent multimedia exhibitions illustrating the rise of movements for equal gender and racial rights in politics, labor organizations and civic life. A reception will be held February 2, 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Emerging Artists: Annual Graduate Exhibition

April 2–May 18; University Museum, Sutton Hall

Highlighting graduate student work, this exhibition will include a mixture of media ranging from ceramics and woodworking to jewelry and performance.
