The Indiana County Small Business Incubator is dedicated to increasing Indiana County's economic prosperity by encouraging high-tech development and industrial diversification.
Established in 1986, the Indiana County Small Business Incubator is a community service outreach project of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Until 2007, this program was funded in part by the Ben Franklin Partnership of Central and Northern Pennsylvania.
Services Offered
As a unit of the Management Services Group (MSG), the Incubator offers a number of diversified services to new entrepreneurs and established companies, including:
- Business plan development
- Counseling on starting a business
- Consulting services related to:
- Accounting and bookkeeping
- Marketing
- Financing
- Strategic planning
- Operations management
- Site search
- Government contracting
- Student interns for business projects
- Collaboration with IUP faculty, staff, and students
- Forms for filing:
- Sales tax application
- Employer I.D. number (EIN)
- Fictitious name registration

Incubator tenants are welcome to use the full resources of the MSG for all their business needs.
