Robert B. Heasley, Ph.D., CMFT

This session addresses sexuality over the life course, including the stages and phases of the sexual journey.  Participants will be introduced to sexuality's three components of orientation, behavior and identity for understanding complexity of sexuality.  Information about and implications for marginalized sexualities including LGBT along with open relationships, polyamory, and kink will be presented.  A model of sexuality education and sexual understanding based on the Scandinavian experience will be introduced to create alternative images of how sexuality related concerns and human sexuality can be addressed and the implications for therapists, counselors, teachers and others working with individuals, couples and families.
