Admission Requirements
The IUP dietetic internship only admits individuals who have completed Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) requirements (i.e., earned verification statement from a ACEND-accredited undergraduate university) and who have earned at least a bachelor’s degree. DPD verification statements and undergraduate transcripts to confirm receipt of a bachelor’s degree are required to be submitted prior to beginning the internship program. Applicants who would like to be considered for part-time enrollment in the dietetic internship must declare this request as part of their application. Contact the program director for specific information about procedures for applying for admission as a part-time intern. All dietetic interns must also be admitted as graduate students through separate application to the IUP School of Graduate Studies and Research.
