The mission of the IUP dietetic internship is to prepare individuals for entry-level dietetic practice by providing quality opportunities to advance food and nutrition knowledge and practice skills in accordance with the requirements established by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Fulfillment of this mission will support the vision of the IUP dietetic internship: our commitment to prepare graduates who are highly skilled, lifelong learners who meet or exceed entry-level professional competencies.
