Year: Second

Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA

Undergraduate School: Slippery Rock University

Undergraduate Program: Psychology, Guidance Counseling

About Me:

I graduate from Slippery university with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Then proceeded to go back after working in a family-based position for a year for my master’s in Education specializing in guidance counseling. After working various positions within and without the school system, I found that I wanted to be a part of creating change for students.

Why School Psychology?

I found that I love guidance counseling, but that I was not able to create change for the student(s) (who really needed it) in a way that would create an effective learning environment for students both physically and emotionally. So I came back to school once again!

Why IUP?

I researched different schools, and also remember a student (Laura Crothers) came to speak in one of my classes about what she does as a school psych... and, long story short... here I am!
