Why School Psychology?
Mental health is a constantly changing and growing field with many opportunities. I specifically chose School Psychology because I enjoy taking leadership roles and working with students. I also look forward to improving education through evidence-based practices for children with learning disabilities.
Why IUP?
IUP has a great reputation for placing their graduates in jobs immediately out of school nationwide. Also, IUP offers a practitioner-based program with the option of certification or doctoral level degree. Furthermore, all of the faculty and current students were very welcoming and friendly during my decision process to choose IUP.
