Hometown: Lititz, PA

Undergraduate School: St. Francis University

Undergraduate Program: B.A.- Psychology

About Me:

My name is Alycia and I am a first-year student in the IUP School Psychology master's program.  I am a very outgoing, optimistic person who is passionate about helping others in any way. I have a love for service and bettering the lives of those in the community through volunteer work as well.  Although I enjoy living in Indiana, my home is with my family in Lancaster County.  I also enjoy spending time with my family on our boat on the Chesapeake Bay. I look forward to a bright future, and I am always open to meeting and connecting with new people!

Why School Psychology?

I enjoy working with children, and look forward to collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure students are gaining the best learning environment possible because the children are our future.

Why IUP?

The faculty and staff were very welcoming and encouraging throughout the interview process, and it was obvious this support would continue throughout my time here at IUP—so far it definitely has!
