Master of Science in Sport Science
Welcome to the Department of Health and Physical Education graduate studies page. We are proud to offer two different master’s degree programs. The Master of Sport Science is discipline specific with concentrations in Exercise Science, Sport Management, Sport Studies, and Aquatics Management. Students can choose a 30-credit thesis option or a 36-credit non-thesis option. Students interested in this program can contact the department graduate coordinators.

Master of Education in Health and Physical Education
The department also offers the Master of Education in Health and Physical Education. This master’s degree offers advanced study for currently certified Health and Physical Education teachers and also offers teacher certification in Health and Physical Education to students who hold a bachelor’s degree in another academic discipline.
