Sport administration/Management is an interdisciplinary profession recognized by the North American Society for Sport Management. Sport managers use a variety of skills in a management capacity with the growing sport industry. The major features a strong base of general education requirements in English, communication, humanities, business, mathematics, and social and natural sciences; major courses in sport marketing, sport finance, legal aspects of sport, event and facilities management in sport, media and community relation in sport, ethics in sport management, and leadership and administration. The program offers practical application experience through a supervised internship experience.
