Bullying: Making a Difference for All

Dr Kelly Champion

April 2, 2012

How does bullying in school and other settings impact everyone? The data tells us that victims of bullying are relatively rare, but that exposure to mild forms of violence is pervasive across many school settings. Dr. Kelly Champion will define bullies, victims, and witnesses and share data. In addition, findings from program evaluations of schoolwide interventions and challenges to changing the risk of exposure to violence will be presented. This presentation will also address the challenges for providers and interventions in addressing the lasting impact of these roles.

Presented by Kelly Champion, Ph.D., founder of Peaceful Families - ACT website, doctor of clinical psychology, and youth/family advocate for violence prevention.
