Residence Director
Anticipated Vacancy
Position: Indiana University of Pennsylvania invites applications for the Residence Director (State University Administrator I) position due to an anticipated vacancy. The RD is responsible for all administrative, educational and supervisory duties for a residence hall housing 350-785 students. The successful candidate is expected to create an academic environment conducive to living-learning. Service on office-wide committees is required. This is a nine-month, live-in position with a possible supplemental contract for summer. A furnished on-campus apartment is provided. The RD will either supervise 1-2 graduate directors or coordinate a substantial office-wide project.
Position Description
Qualifications: Master’s degree required. Master’s degree in student affairs, higher education administration, counseling, or a related field, with live-in residence life experience, strongly preferred. Transferable skills from positions in related student affairs departments will be considered (i.e. judicial affairs, orientation, etc.) In order to become a finalist, candidates must communicate effectively and perform well in the interview(s). Salary is $26,145 with excellent benefits.
