Global Ambassadors Program

Global Ambassadors is a new program facilitated by the Office of International Education to assist new international students as they adjust to life in the U.S. and at IUP.

Current international students or returning study abroad students (Global Ambassadors) will work together to mentor small groups of new international students in their first or second semester at IUP. Ambassadors will contact new students every week and assist them in finding academic help and resources available on campus, and, once a month, hold group activities like a movie night, a bowling night, or a local sightseeing trip to facilitate cross-cultural learning.
