On October 27, 2011, CALSA, in co-sponsorship with the Latin American Studies Committee, showed a film titled PAPERS: Story of Undocumented Youth. It tells the story of undocumented youth and the challenges they face as they turn eighteen without legal immigration status and want to continue their education.

Speaker Roberto Juarez

On November 3, 2011, a CALSA-invited speaker, Roberto Juarez, spoke to IUP students and faculty about United We Dream and his activities in promoting the DREAm Act.
