Dr. Liliana Elizabet Jurewiez graduated from the University of Iowa with her doctorate in 2000.
In 2001, she began teaching at IUP. Her research interests are women's literature, gay literature, and Latin American Theater.
Dr. Jurewiez is the editor of the international Hispanic Journal, the director of the IUP/Valladolid Program Abroad, the Spanish Minor Advisor, and a co-organizer of the departmental Hispanic Literatures Conference. She teaches all level of Spanish classes.
