Hyperlinks

There are two kinds of links in Ektron.

• Links to webpages with the content management system, known as quicklinks
• Links to webpages not on the content management system, known as hyperlinks

Follow this process to add a hyperlink, or external link:

1. While your content is open for editing, highlight the text or click the image that will become the hyperlink.
2. Click the Hyperlink icon, , on the toolbar. The following screen will appear:
   
   
   
3. Enter the URL of the website you want to link to in the URL field.
4. Ensure that the actual text of the link is accurate in the Link Text field.
5. Click OK to complete the process. Your link has now been created.
